Wednesday 3rd June - Having Respect for the World

Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd June - Having Respect for Ourselves

18.5.20 - 22.5.20
This week in school our activities were based around the value of creativity. We started with a blank piece of paper, (like vashti from “the dot” by Peter H Reynolds,) and we ended up with some fantastic pointillism animal pictures. We also took inspiration from “the blue balloon” by Mike Inkpen, and our balloons turned into hot air balloons and took us on an adventure to a rainforest.

Thank you to all the children that sent in their pictures of their decorated eggs!

School Council Elections 2019

On Friday 20th September we held our school council elections.  Our nominated candidates bravely gave their speech to the whole school then the children voted in a secret ballot. The elected children will meet weekly to discuss school issues and fundraising ideas.

Today the children enjoyed a day of Science.  We had a visit from Wonderstruck, he did lots of experiments and showed the children how to make a rocket.  They went into the playground and tested their rockets, one even went over the wall!!
