I grew up in Duffield before moving to Manchester to do a degree in Maths and Management studies. After this, I spent some time travelling, which included a few moths teaching in a tribal village in the rainforests of Borneo before returning to Duffield and eventually settling in Milford with my wife.
Our son attended Milford pre-school before joining Kinder class in 2020. We really like the community feel of the school and the village and want to be part of that. As a family, we are heavily involved in the community greenspace used by the school where my wife is treasurer.
As a parent governor, I hope to be able to contribute to the on-going success of the school and represent the interests of parents and the children.
