Notes for Parents:
We have spent some time trying to learn the common exception words already during home learning.
I would suggest your child chooses 5-7 words that they don't feel confident spelling and make these out of Lego.
They may wish to try and form the letters out of Lego, or (if they are allowed!) they might want to write each letter on each brick and put the word together.
If they do the second option they might want to muddle the letters up and practise putting the word back together.
The aim is that the child will be able to read and spell these words, so use this time to practice ones they struggle with!
