Note to Parents:
Today's English job is reading focused.
I would like the children to have a go at reading these instructions as independently as possible.
Try and leave them to it. But if they want help, prompt them to use their phonics to sound out the words.
You will know the children have understood what they have read if they can make the Lego man.
(There aren't any pictures on the instructions on purpose, I want the children to use the writing to help them!)
If the children struggle with the instructions, ask them how I could have made them better. They are going to be writing their own tomorrow.
